Other protesters surrounded the governorate building in Damietta and in the Nile Delta city. During that time, the headquarters of the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood were torched in Ismailiya. Islamist President Mohammed Mursi, of the Muslim Brotherhood, came into power a day after these clashes.
Thoughts/Feelings/Observations: I observed that the government of the cities of Ismailiya, Damietta, and Nile Delta City, were being hated very much because there are protesters willing to try to destroy government buildings. From reading this article the feelings I was having was that I was surprised that the people of their own country, would do that to their own government.
How it ties to political life: This is very important matter that is happening to Egypt's government. They need to do something about it. Its giving a big impact to the people's lives and what they are thinking about the government.
